While television and radio advertisements account for large portions of many companies marketing budgets, a study conducted by the British Promotional Merchandise Association proves branded items can be even more impactful. A survey conducted by the British Promotional Merchandise Association of over 15,000 consumers who received a free promotional item in the last year provided the following results.
- 66% of participants were able to recall the brand displayed on the promotional item they received in the past year
- 87% of participants claimed to have held onto branded promotional items for longer than a year
- ROI of branded items is greater than radio advertisements and equal to television
