Hi-def cameras, live streaming to Detroit police

On March 20th an incident at a Mobil gas station on Fenkel Ave in Detroit led to eventual gunshots and multiple injuries. Luckily this Mobil gas station was an early adopter of the new city initiative, which allowed police immediate access to high definition footage of all that occurred, enabling them to make a timely arrest.

The signs pictured above are part of a complete signage package including aluminum flag signs, wall signs, and window decals that ID Enterprises provides to all local businesses which invest in the Project Green Light cameras. Besides gas stations, other businesses have adopted the technology including numerous Detroit McDonalds and party stores. While the recent gas station shooting is nothing short of a tragedy for those involved, the Project Green Light program aims to significantly decrease these types of incidents. With the added news coverage and growing publicity, the city expects criminals will take notice of our signage before endangering people at the pump, and workers at local businesses.
